Shannon Buth started House of Shan in 2020 as a love letter to her mother, who had just passed away. Shannon says her work unfolded organically, from the design of the now iconic heart to the nonprofit organizations she champions; each step has led me to my life's work." She is passionate about the House of Shan and its message and mission. She's a mother to 4 beautiful boys and a wife to her husband Greg, who occasionally steps in to help her manage her growing brand.
In today's episode, Nada sits down with Shannon to discuss her social enterprise and its impact on her life and the organizations she partners with. Shannon details the original piece of merchandise that started it all and the creation of their logo that serves as a reminder to spread love and embrace life's imperfections. The two discuss how important it is for founders to identify what they are good at doing and then find other people to fill in the gaps to grow the business.
